Job Summary:

    The Warehouse Supervisor will organize and oversee a team of associates to ensure that products are properly loaded and unloaded, and direct company truck drivers for deliveries. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will apply your outstanding organizational skills to facilitate an efficient, safe, and productive onsite operation.

    What You’ll Do:

        • Manage, assign, and supervise dock employees in the area to ensure proper utilization of employees, equipment, loading and unloading.
        • Monitor and evaluate the safety of each employee on a daily basis.
        • Monitor, evaluate, and teach employees safe lifting techniques as well as uses safe lifting as needed throughout the day.
        • Monitor and maintain housekeeping within the shift to ensure safety and productivity.
        • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure alignment in meeting daily/weekly/monthly and yearly business objectives.
        • Ensure employees are compliant with safety regulations including OSHA compliance.
        • Oversee all paperwork associated with the dock to ensure it is handled timely and correctly by employees.
        • Responsible for meeting all KPI’s assigned.
        • Lead, guide, and direct dock employees as needed to include setting targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching.
        • Enforce understanding and compliance with all Company policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
        • Manage daily end-of-shift reports and performance updates.
        • Other duties as assigned.

        Qualifications & Skills:

        • Warehouse experience preferred.
        • Must be certified to operate a forklift.
        • Experience in a leadership role.
        • Must have experience working in a temperature-controlled environment.
        • Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds.
        • Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and squatting and frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor.
        • Must be a team player.
        • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        • Must be dependable and have a good attendance record.
        • Must have basic math and computer skills.
        • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, or when requested to support the 24/7 business.
